about

A short piece about leaving.

lyrics

I'll have to pretend I'm a ghost,
so nobody ever knows,
why I always push you further from me.

And I owe my debts to what's lost,
but when I come across a chance to push you further from me, I do.

Walk away, save your tears.
The more you hesitate the more you prolong this destruction.
Pick a place, plan to leave.
The more you hesitate the longer you'll lose your instructions.

You look like you've seen a ghost,
upon your face it shows.
A typical side-effect from moving further from me.
I watch the cold metal band on your wrist.
It seems to move slower now.
But that doesn't mean,
that doesn't mean,
that doesn't mean that it will stop.
